The following declaration provides an overview of whatpersonal data the Albers Group (hereinafter also referred to as ‘we’) collectswhen you visit our website, for what purpose and how it is used.

Personal data we collect when you visit our website:

Creation of log files:

Each time you access the Albers Group website, temporary information that your browser transmits automatically is stored automatically. The log file created contains the browser type/version, the operating system used, the name and URL of the file accessed, the referrer URL (the page visited previously), the host name of the accessing computer (IP address) and the date and time of the server request. This data is not merged with other data sources.This data is stored and processed solely for the purposes of system security and website optimisation. The legal basis for this is point (f) of Article 6 (1) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in being able to provide an optimised website and system security. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties and will be deleted after one year.

Recipients of personal data:

The Albers Group only transfers personal data to recipients who need it for the lawful fulfilment of tasks.

Where external service providers receive personal data for these purposes, when selecting our partners, we ensure that suitable technical and organisational measures are implemented and the necessary agreements are concluded so that processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and that the rights of the data subject are protected.

We might disclose personal information to:

  • Our affiliated companies, namely: ELA Container GmbH
  • Authorities and companies in connection with updates or to comply with statutory notification obligations (e.g. social security agencies, tax authorities, police and public prosecutor’s offices, supervisory authorities, road traffic authorities, credit agencies)

Deletion of data /retention period:

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. Data may also be stored if this has been provided for by European or national legislators in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the Albers Group is subject. The data will also be deleted if a retention period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless it is necessary to continue storing the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.

Rights of the data subject:

If your personal data is processed, you are the data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you have the rights described below.

Pursuant to Article 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about personal data concerning you that we are processing. Please make your request for information as precise as possible in order to make it easier for us to compile the necessary data.

If the data concerning you is not (or no longer) accurate, you have the right to rectification in accordance with Article 16 GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you can ask for it to be completed.

You have the right to demand the erasure of your personal data in accordance with Article 17 GDPR.

In accordance with Article 18 GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of data concerning you.

Pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of data concerning you at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. (Optional if the processing of personal data is based on a legitimate interest of the controller or a third party.)

In the context of data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. (optional)

Withdrawal of consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal. (optional)

No automated decision-making pursuant to Article 22 GDPR takes place in the course of processing your personal data.
